Judge Bedelia C Hargrove presides over DeKalb County Probate Court. The Probate Court has jurisdiction over the probate of wills, administration of estates, appointment of guardians and conservators for incapacitated adults as well as minors, and mental health commitments. The Probate Court also issues marriage licenses and weapons carry licenses and performs a number of other administrative duties. Standard forms and probate resources are available at gaprobate.gov.
There are two locations, both in the same building, for the DeKalb Probate Court.

Function: Estates, Guardianships, Conservatorships, Mental Health, Auditing and Records
Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
